Content marketing is all the buzz word these days. There are 2 types of content you can create. One is to build trust. The second is promotional content. And there is a time and a place for each.
How you go about building trust is by providing guidance or adding clarity to an issue your clientele may be experiencing. By you being the person who provides useful information your level of influence will continue to grow.
Promotional content, on the other hand, has the intent of closing a deal. The key is to send this type of message at the right time. This shouldn’t be the first email that you send inside your sequence.
This is where content planning has its place. So, before posting for the sake of posting. Answer some of these questions. Why are you creating content? What are the concerns or pain points of your target audience? What topics could you write about that would address these issues?
