Time Management

I’m on my tenth post. Want to spend some time on time management. By this time I thought I would be driving traffic and honing my skill set on or refining my target audience. But I am still haven’t completed getting m y website functioning. What I want anyone looking into taking on the prospect of building an online business how much time is actually involved in do this. I currently putting in an average of an hour per day. This is what I was told would be the necessary. On Tuesday I spent 3 hours and I felt this was the appropriate amount of time to get something accomplished. I gave myself an opportunity to get engaged and could work on adding some new addition formats to make my website more appealing. There is nothing worse than starting a project and having to cut it short, or if you run into snags and having to cut it short. So, I would suggest that this that the 1 hour per day is probably not realistic. Now if after you have everything up and running an hour is still a bit optimistic. I believe working your blog will require an hour per day. Advertising would be an hour each day too. more on this later. So, what is my advice, if you are going into this business you need to be willing  to invest some time consistently. Yes you can do 1 hour one day, but I would be looking to put in a few extra hours somewhere else during the week. You need to establish some traction. If you don’t you will fail and consider what you are doing a scam or this stuff doesn’t work. Go into your weekly planner, draw out a game plan, schedule in the time and adhere to the schedule. A planner is only good if you stick to it. And also, take time to make time.

See you next week.
